Submitting Maintenance Requests for UT College of Veterinary Medical Center
Overview:
The UT College of Veterinary Medical Center (UTCVM) Maintenance team operates separately from UT Facilities Services Department and does not use Dash for work order intake. UTCVM does not receive work orders submitted through Dash, and submitting through the wrong channel will delay service by preventing the request from reaching the correct support team.
Correct Route:
To request maintenance support for the UT College of Veterinary Medicine, submit your request through their designated notification process by email.

Include the following details to help the team respond quickly:
- Exact location (building, room number, area)
- Description of the issue and any helpful details
- Requester name and contact information (phone/email)
What Happens if a Request is Submitted in Dash:
When a UTCVM-related request is submitted through Dash, UT Facilities Services Work Order Management may contact the customer to advise the correct notification route and then cancel the Dash request so it can be resubmitted properly to cvmhospitalsupport@utk.edu This helps prevent misrouting and ensures the request is directed to the UTCVM team that can take action.
Initially submitting requests directly to cvmhospitalsupport@utk.edu ensures your issue reaches the appropriate UTCVM support team without unnecessary delays.
