TDX User Removal Process

Purpose

The standard process for removing a user’s access in TDX by first removing them from all TDX groups and then requesting full removal from the system.

When to Use

Use this procedure when:

  • A user no longer requires access to TDX (role change, separation, or access cleanup).

Procedure

*All TDX Account changes should have a corresponding TDX Ticket*

Step 1: Collect and Verify User Details

  1. Confirm the user’s nameemployee number, and NetID
  2. Ensure the information matches what is listed in TDX (to avoid modifying the wrong account).

Step 2: Remove User from All TDX Groups

  1. In TDX, search for the user and identify all groups the user is currently a member of.
  2. Remove the user from each group.
    • Important: Only admins with manager rights to the group can remove members from groups.

Step 3: Request Full User Removal from TDX

  1. After confirming the user has been removed from all TDX groups, compile the user’s details.
  2. Send an email to Travis Gordon requesting the user be removed from TDX.

Completion Checklist (Quality Check)

Mark the ticket complete only when:

  • The user has been removed from every TDX group.
  • Complete removal from TDX has been confirmed by Travis Gordon
  • Email Template (Copy/Paste)
