In DASH, the Labor Distribution process is handled as part of the Finance/ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Cloud solution and the Labor Distribution functionality includes the process of allocating and distributing payroll costs to the applicable funds/accounts at the University. The Labor Distribution process is handled separately in DASH from actual payroll processes and is a required step to ensure payroll costs are distributed correctly. A “Labor Schedule” specifies how the actual type of pay is distributed.
The Friends of DASH website includes a list of Labor Distribution job aids available to help outline various processes associated with distributing payroll costs at UT.
