Instructions
Sync Panopto and Canvas Permissions
- Sign out of both Canvas and Panopto.
- Go to Panopto and select Sign In.
- Sign in to Panopto and select UTK Canvas (main) from the authentication provider drop-down menu.
- When redirected to Canvas, enter your standard Canvas credentials.
- After authentication completes, return to Panopto.
- Open Canvas in a new browser tab, navigate to the affected course, and verify whether access has been restored.
Troubleshooting
Browser Compatibility Issues
- Access Panopto using Google Chrome.
- If issues continue, clear your browser cache and cookies.
- Sign in again and test access to the affected content.
Pop-Up Blockers or Redirect Settings
- Review your browser settings for blocked pop-ups or redirects.
- Allow pop-ups and redirects for canvas.utk.edu.
- Allow pop-ups and redirects for panopto.com.
- Retry accessing Panopto content from Canvas.
Authentication Timeout
- Sign in directly to Panopto using your NetID.
