Microsoft Teams: Creating Breakout Rooms During a Meeting

Overview

You can create breakout rooms either before or during a meeting in Microsoft Teams. These instructions help you create the rooms during the meeting.

Instructions

1. In your Teams meeting, choose Rooms
2. Use the up and down arrow to choose the number of rooms you want to create
3. Decide if you want to automatically or manually assign participants to a room or if you wish them to be able to choose on their own
4. Select create rooms
