This article explains why installing apps from the Microsoft Store may be blocked and describes what users can do when this occurs.
Instructions
- Attempt to install the app from the Microsoft Store.
- If installation is blocked, Windows may display the error message: “Microsoft Store is blocked.”
- If you see this message, the block is likely caused by device management settings applied through Intune.
- For assistance, contact the OIT HelpDesk at 865-974-9900 or submit a support ticket to the Desktop Support team.
- When you submit your ticket, please include the app you are trying to install and the error message you receive.
