Information
New Whiteboards are saved to the Zoom cloud and may be accessed at any time, even when a meeting is not in progress. New Whiteboards include the same mark-up and drawing tools of Classic Whiteboards, plus some new features including:
- The Zoom AI Companion,
- Pre-formatted templates,
- Support for images, links, and media.
Access the New Whiteboard
- In the Zoom Workplace desktop app, select More on the menu bar and then Whiteboards. Repeat this process to access any saved New Whiteboards.
- On the UT Zoom page, select Whiteboards from the Zoom Account Profile menu. Repeat this process to access any saved New Whiteboards.
- During a meeting, select Whiteboards on the meeting toolbar. You may choose to create a new whiteboard or access an existing whiteboard and share it.
Add Content to a New Whiteboard
When you access New Whiteboards, you have the opportunity to create a new one or open an existing one. Once you choose, the New Whiteboard interface opens. The following examples will display New Whiteboards and options in both the Zoom Workplace app and the UT Zoom page.
- The mark-up tools are available on the left, including the Zoom AI Companion Sparkle icon.
- Templates and a Share icon on the right. The Share permissions are similar to other applications. For example, the owner may share with a certain person or someone with a UT Zoom account.
- The default name of the whiteboard is automatically generated by Zoom and will include the date and time. Zoom will save the New Whiteboard automatically once content has been added.
- Copy and paste images, links, and media onto the New Whiteboard as desired.

Share the New Whiteboard
Since the New Whiteboard is saved to the cloud, you may choose to share it at any time with another UT Zoom account holder.
- Access the saved New Whiteboard in the Zoom Workplace desktop app or in the UT Zoom page, and then select the 3-dots icon on the thumbnail to access Share options.

- During the meeting, select Whiteboards on the meeting toolbar, and then choose to create a new one or open an existing New Whiteboard.
