The Zoom AI Companion mobile voice recorder is a feature in the Zoom Workplace mobile app that lets you capture conversations, notes, or ideas on-the-go. Instead of needing to start a meeting, you can open the AI Companion tab in the mobile app, tap the voice recorder, and begin speaking. Once you finish, the recording is automatically processed by Zoom’s AI to generate a transcript and a smart summary. Review key points later, search through your notes, or share important details with colleagues from the transcript or smart summary generated by the Zoom AI Companion.
Be sure to have the Zoom AI Companion and meeting summary options engaged in your UT Zoom account.
- Go to tennessee.zoom.us
- Select “Create or Edit Account” to login with your NetID and password.
- Choose Settings on the left and then AI Companion at the top of your page.
- Turn on the options you wish to engage.
