Overview
Have you been looking for an easy way to have people book a 1:1 appointment with you? Or perhaps you need an easy way for students to book Office Hours or conferences with you. Look no further than Microsoft Booking’s Personal Booking Pages.
You can set your Personal Booking Pages to Public or Private and easily share with others. Individuals, based on your settings, are able to view your schedule and request an appointment when you are available. You can also set up a reminder and follow-up email.

Below is an example of a Personal Booking page with four Public Meeting types included.

Create a Meeting Type
Note: Microsoft Bookings reflects your Outlook Calendar. It is recommended that you have an up-to-date Outlook calendar when using Bookings.
Depending on your needs, you can create multiple Public and Private Meeting types.
- Go to Microsoft Bookings.
- Under the Personal Booking Page heading, select Create Meeting Type.

- Enter a Meeting Type Name.
- Enter information about your Meeting, ex. This meeting will be via Microsoft Teams.
- Enter a location.
- By default, a Teams meeting is toggled ON.
- If you will be meeting in person, enter a location and toggle OFF Teams meeting.
- Enter the length of the Meeting Type.
- Select Public or Private.
- Public Meeting Types will be seen on your published Personal Booking Page with other public meetings you have created.
- Private Meeting Types will not be seen on your Personal Booking Page and will need to be shared via a link or email. The link for a Private Meeting will expire after 90 days.
- Append your Personal Booking Page to your email signature is, by default, checked. If you do NOT want this added to your signature, uncheck this feature.
- Set your schedule for this meeting type.

Schedule Customization
You can use your regular meeting hours or customize your hours and date range within the Schedule Customization section.
Regular Meeting Hours
- Select Use my regular meeting hours.

- Select Save if you are not making any additional changes or using any of the optional advanced features.
- You will now need to publish your Personal Booking page.
Custom Hours
Custom hours can be set for each specific meeting type. You can also set a specific Date Range.
- Select Use Custom Availability Hours from the drop-down.
- Adjust the times for each day based on your preferred availability.

- Select Save if you are not making any additional changes or using any of the optional advanced features.
- You will now need to publish your Personal Booking Page.
Schedule Date Range
A specific date range can also be set for each meeting type if selecting Use Custom Availability Hours.
- Select Use Custom Availability Hours.
- Select the check box for Only during the following Date Range.
- Enter the preferred start and end dates.
- Select Save if you are not making any additional changes or using any of the optional advanced features.
- You will now need to publish your Personal Booking Page.

(Optional) Advanced Options
These include:
- Buffer time before and after the meeting.
- Minimum and Maximum lead time for individuals to book your meeting type.
- Send Email Reminders and Email Follow-ups.
- Adjust options per your preferences.
- Select Save.
- You will now need to publish your Personal Booking Page.

Publish your Personal Booking Page
In order for any of your meeting types, public and private, to be viewable and shareable, you will need to publish the page.
- Select Publish Booking Page.
- Share a Public Meeting, Private Meeting, or your Personal Booking Page.

Sharing
To share your meeting types, confirm you have published your booking page.
You can share an individual, Public or Private Meeting type or your full Personal Booking page via Link or in an Email.
Sharing an individual Public Meeting Type
You have two options for sharing this meeting type: Share via a Link or Share with an Email
Share with a Link
- Select the individual Public Meeting Types share icon.

- Select the Copy icon.

- Paste the meeting link into a Teams chat or an email.
Sharing an individual Private Meeting Type
A link created for a Private meeting type will expire after 90 days. After 90 days, the link will be inoperable, and a new link must be recreated. You also have the option of creating a single-use link that will expire after the first booking.
Share with a Link
- Select the Private Meeting Type share icon.
- Toggle on, if needed, Make a link valid for only one booking.
- Select the Copy icon and then paste into a Teams chat or email.

Share individual Public or Private Meeting types via Email
- Select the Meeting Type’s Share icon.
- If sending a Private meeting type, toggle on, if needed, Make a link valid for only one booking.
- Select Email.

- Enter and select the name of the recipient.
- Enter a message (if needed).
- Select Send.

Share your Personal Booking Page
This option will share all Public Meetings you have created. Private Meetings will not be accessible from your shared Personal Booking Page.
Share with a Link
- Select the Share icon.

- Select Copy Link.
- Paste the link into a Teams chat or email.

- You can also select the Copy Personal Bookings link to the clipboard and paste into a Teams chat or Email.==

Share via Email
- Select the Share icon.
- Select Share via Email.

- Enter and select the name of the recipient.
- Enter a message (if needed).
- Select Send.
