Overview

To create a calendar meeting from an email in Outlook, you can drag the email over to the calendar icon on the left side of your Outlook window. This will then open a dialog box with information on the suggested meeting time.

Instructions

  1. In Outlook, pop out the message you want to make a meeting. by double clicking on the message.
  2. Drag the message over to the calendar icon on the left side of Outlook.

  3. A meeting invitation will pop up and will have recipients from the email already pre-loaded into the attendees box. 
    1. If times and dates are included in the message, the meeting invitation should pre-populate with that information.
