To create a calendar meeting from an email in Outlook, you can drag the email over to the calendar icon on the left side of your Outlook window. This will then open a dialog box with information on the suggested meeting time.
Instructions
- In Outlook, pop out the message you want to make a meeting by double clicking on the message.
- Drag the message over to the calendar icon on the left side of Outlook.

- A meeting invitation will pop up and will have recipients from the email already pre-loaded into the attendees box.
- If times and dates are included in the message, the meeting invitation should pre-populate with that information.
