This short article and video will walk you through the steps for taking attendance using PointSolutions' PowerPoint Polling for Mac Desktop.

Instructions

1. Begin your PowerPoint polling session with your course selected and mobile devices enabled.

2. When you are ready to take attendance, select the "hand" icon from the PointSolutions session toolbar.

3. An attendance display will appear.

4. Students who respond will appear within the Present tab. Those who do not respond will remain on the Absent tab.

5. Students will receive a message to respond on their device.

6. Select Close Polling when you are comfortable that all students have had a chance to respond and are ready to return to your presentation.

7. When your presentation is complete, close PowerPoint and return to the PointSolutions Dashboard.

8. Select the Manage tab.

9. Select your course and session.

10. Select Reports.

11. To view Attendance, select the drop-down in the upper right corner.

12. Select Attendance.

13. If needed, select Export or Print.
