Overview
As a channel owner, you can add or remove members, edit channel settings, delete or restore a channel, and more.
Instructions
- Launch the Teams app and navigate to the team where you want to manage the channel.
- Select the ellipses … menu to the right of your Team name, then select Manage channel.
- Use the tabs on the left to access different options for managing your channel:
- The Settings tab allows you to edit the name, description, privacy, moderation, posting permissions, email address, connectors, tabs, apps, and analytics of your channel.
- The Members tab allows you to add or remove members and assign roles (owner or member) for your channel. Each person you add must first be a member of the team.
- The Pinned posts tab allows you to pin important messages or files to the top of your channel for easy access.
- The Deleted tab allows you to view and restore deleted channels within 30 days of deletion.
- When you are done making changes, click on Close.
