Information

Microsoft Teams Calls iconMicrosoft Teams not only provides users the ability to make audio and video calls, but it also comes with Voicemail! This feature can be accessed via the Calls icon in your Teams menu.

Believe it or not, there is a default message currently in use within Teams that allows individuals to leave a Teams voicemail for you when you are not available. Your Voicemail message is easily customizable within your Teams Settings – you can add a text-to-speech message or you can record your own message.

**Please note, if you choose to record a greeting, it will override the text-to-speech option. It is recommended you create a custom text-to-speech greeting first and listen to it over the phone. If you do not like the message, proceed with the recorded option.

Additionally, those voicemail messages will trigger a Teams Activity notification and an email with the transcript of the call! Voicemail can easily be retrieved from the Calls tab within Teams and by selecting the Voicemail tab. This feature is accessible from the Teams Desktop, Web, and Mobile apps.
