Body
Note: The time it takes to create a Google Takeout archive depends on the number and size of the files you requested and the type of data. It can range from several minutes to several days. If your data is large enough to take more than one day to process, Google Takeout may not work to export your data. You will need to export your data through other means.
Overview
Google Takeout exports Google account data to a .zip file that can be saved and imported into another account. This essentially creates a downloadable archive file containing all the user's data stored in their Google account. This export is not necessarily for transferring data to an external Google account. For those looking to export their Google data for transferring University of Tennessee Gmail and Google Drive data to a personal Gmail account, please visit this article: Gmail: Transfer UT Gmail and Google Drive to a Personal Gmail Account
NOTE: If you receive the error "Transfer Your Content is only available to authorized G Suite for Education Accounts. Please contact your administrator, or sign in with another Google Account", you are likely signed in to multiple Gmail accounts. To fix this, you may need to sign out of your non-UTK accounts, use an incognito browser window, or use a different browser to use Google Takeout.
