In a Breakout Room, participants may use the Audio, Video (webcam), Share Screen, and Chat tools. Breakout Rooms will inherit permissions from the main room. As a best practice, we recommend that the leader/host enable access to the meeting tools participants will need in the rooms prior to opening the Breakout Rooms. For example, the leader should ensure that participants may un-mute their audio and have access to the Share Screen tool prior to opening the Breakout Rooms.
The leader/host may start end end Breakout Rooms at any time during the session.
If it's enabled by the host, individual participants can record breakout rooms. Recordings initiated by the host will only record the main room, not breakout rooms, regardless of what room the host is occupying.
