Zoom: Share Cloud Recording

Overview

When the Zoom Cloud recording is published to the cloud, Zoom will send the leader an email with a shareable link in it. If you're using the Canvas/Zoom integration, the Zoom Cloud Recording will appear on the Cloud Recording tab on the course site, and students can access it from that location. Students can also record to the Zoom Cloud and share the recording from their UT Zoom accounts.

If you’d like to share, access, or manage your cloud recordings at any time, log in to our UT Zoom site to access a list of Zoom Cloud Recordings.

Instructions

Share a Cloud Recording:

  1. Go to tennessee.zoom.us and select Create or Edit Account to log in with your NetID and password. 
  2. Select Recordings in the menu on the left. 
  3. Under the Cloud Recordings tab, select Share next to the recording you would like to send.
    • You will have the option to copy the recording link, control who can view the recording, and share the recording with specific people. 
  4. Select Share Settings to access additional recording settings. 
    • You will have the option to allow viewers to download the meeting, allow viewers to see a meeting transcript, require viewers to register before viewing, enable a passcode, and set an expiration date.
